Rhodes is a salubrious island and sunny just about all year long. Its lush too and warms up before the rest of Greece except for Crete. It is the 4th largest island in Greece and the largest of the Dodecanese with 1,398 sq. km of land mass and 220 km of coastline and lots of sandy beaches on its eastern side. It has a population of over 98,000 people.
